The Supper Club Six is now iin its eleventh year of monthly shows at the art deco Villa d'Este in West Portal, San Francisco. Producer Kathy Holly, Pianist extraordinaire David Miotke, Pro Bassist Steve Hanson and singers Marilyn Cooney, Dorothy Donell, Kat Fitzgerald, Debra Mugnani, and Bill Ramos present the standards in an elegant setting. $28 gets you a three course Italian dinner and the two hour show. Songs and Stories of the 1930s is a show especially created for the PJCC, where I have been entertaining for the past five years. Learn how the music and history of a tumultuous decade are intertwined, with fascinating tales about the singers, songwriters and performers who made the songs famous.
